Vivitar Binoculars With Built-in Digital Camera Software Does Anyone Out There Have A Vivitar IFST 70076 Telescope?

Does anyone out there have a Vivitar IFST 70076 telescope? - vivitar binoculars with built-in digital camera software

I am getting serious about buying the telescope as a starting point in astronomy. The budget is an important aspect.

My concern is that I find any information on this telescope, everywhere. Has anyone had experience, it is good, but I am so frustrated, at least had a reasonable idea of the craters on the moon through it?

I have a decent pair of binoculars, but they are old and can not connect to my digital camera for them, though I could benefit from this telescope. All advice gratefully received.

Do not buy this scope.i with an astronomy club and is a waste of money. that the telescope is garbage, most of the children.

I can not find a link with this telescope, but my guess is that like a piece of commercial trash. If it is sold for less than $ 180, is almost certain that there is garbage. Let the value of claims, the picture will be affected almost all manufacturers and importers to lie. It can not be a telescope can photograph for less than $ 1,000.

The least expensive telescope, which I recommend is the Orion Star Blast 4.5:

Do not let the fact that he is advertising to children will be intimidated - is a telescope of good quality, recommended by many experienced amateur astronomers.

Here are some websites with good information on beginner telescopes:

For more extensive information, read Phil Harrington Starware, 4 Edition (Wiley).

You get the best value for your money with a Newtonian reflector on a Dobsonian mount, such as the following:

Buy from a store that specializes in the purchase telescopes and astronomy, either locally or online, not in department stores, discount stores or eBay, as is everything they sell junk. Find your local astronomy club and try different telescopes at one of its groups of stars:
